Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, founded in 1975, is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to eliminate cancer and other diseases as a cause of human suffering and death. Its roster of internationally acclaimed scientists, both current and former, includes three Nobel laureates and a MacArthur fellow. Fred Hutch engages in multifaceted research, from investigating the fundamental causes of cancer to expediting the translation of laboratory advances into clinical care.
